How is a CBD balm different from a roll-on salve or cream?

Each topical format is built for a different moment in your routine.

How much CBD topical should I use?

Because topicals are applied externally instead of swallowed or held under the tongue, there's no measured serving size the way there is with an oil or capsule. The CBD Balm comes in three potencies, at 300mg, 600mg, and 900mg, so you can pick based on how concentrated you want the formula. The CBD Roll-On Salve, Heating + Cooling Roll-On Salve, and CBD Moisturizing Skin Cream are each formulated at 1000mg.

Apply a small amount to the area first, then add more as needed. There's no standard serving to work up to with a topical the way there is with an ingestible.

How do I use a CBD topical?

Application depends on the format. For the balm, scoop a small amount onto your fingertips and massage it into the area. For a roll-on salve, roll it directly onto skin and massage until absorbed. For the moisturizing skin cream, apply to clean, dry skin and massage until fully absorbed. For a massage oil, pump a few drops into your palms, warm between hands, then massage in.

The CBD Balm pairs full-spectrum hemp extract with organic shea butter alone. The Roll-On Salves add organic beeswax, jojoba oil, and calming lavender and tea tree oils to that same base. The Moisturizing Skin Cream is formulated with aloe vera juice, safflower oil, and vitamin E for a lightweight, non-greasy finish. The Soothe and Rejuvenate massage oils use a CBD isolate, and the Calm massage oil uses a CBN isolate that promotes relaxation,* in a sunflower, jojoba, and meadowfoam oil base, so all three contain no detectable THC.
