Dr. Jeremy Riggle

Dr. Jeremy Riggle earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Idaho in 2007.

After spending several years as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Eastern Oregon University, he co-founded Eastern Oregon Analytical, a cannabis compliance and research laboratory, in 2013. In addition to providing validated testing, Dr. Riggle’s students were the first to present cannabis-based research projects at the national meeting of the American Chemical Society. While in Oregon, he was also appointed by Governor Kate Brown to be on a task force researching the medical and public health properties of cannabis.

In 2017, Dr. Riggle was offered a role as the Chief Scientific Officer for Mary’s Medicinals, a Denver-based multi-state cannabis manufacturing company. At Mary’s, he was responsible for internal quality control testing, product optimization, new product development, and oversight of a nationwide team of laboratory technicians.

While the CSO, Dr. Riggle facilitated and directed one of the first IRB approved clinical trials in the US involving a medical cannabis product, reformulated several products to remove undesirable ingredients, and developed several novel consumer products. Dr. Riggle is an active member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society, has presented several research projects at their annual meetings, and has been invited to speak at cannabis conferences across the globe.

He joins the medical advisory board of both FAB CBD and NuLeaf Naturals because he is committed to bringing scientific integrity, standards, transparency, as well as clean and effective products to the cannabis/hemp space. Dr. Riggle strongly believes this is what consumers deserve.

In his downtime, he takes full advantage of what Colorado has to offer by mountain biking, hiking, and white-water rafting.
