  • Rinse and cover dry beans in filtered or spring water in a glass jar. Cover jar with cheesecloth, sprouting screen, or mesh sprouting lid.
  • Soak beans at least 8 hours (overnight works great).
  • Drain and rinse beans thoroughly. Drain by placing the jar on an angle to allow airflow to still enter.
  • Repeat rinsing and draining 2 to 3 times per day. When you wake and before bed are good times.
  • 3 to 4 days for chickpeas/garbanzo beans, or until sprout tails appear and are the length you’d prefer. (1/4 inch sprout tail is recommended for full nutritional benefits).
  • The same method for other beans and legumes, but the timeframe may differ to achieve germination.

Serves 8, Serving size 2 ounces (1/4 cup) = 10mg of CBD

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry organic chickpeas (navy, split pea, mixed bean, etc.) = 2 cups sprouted
  • 2 tablespoons organic tahini
  • 2 tablespoons organic virgin olive oil
  • 1.5ml of NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil (80mgs or approximately 32 drops)
  • 1 to 2 cloves of organic garlic
  • Juice of two medium organic lemons
  • Himalayan pink salt to taste
  • Add filtered water to thin, if desired
  • Garnish with paprika and pinenuts, or garnish of preference

  • Food processor
  • Spatula

Directions

Place sprouted beans in food processor with tahini and garlic. In a separate bowl or small cup add olive oil, CBD oil, and lemon juice. Begin the food processor to blend the solid ingredients, and start to pour oil mixture in. If the consistency is too thick, you can add a little additional olive oil or filtered water to thin to desired texture. Add salt to taste and garnish to preference. Serve as is with pita, pretzels, or fresh veggies, or refrigerate to enjoy later. Best eaten in three to four days.
