Frequently Asked Questions

How is THC oil made?
THC oil is made by extracting THC and other cannabinoids from the cannabis and infusing them with a carrier oil. Several extraction methods can be used to create a THC tincture. At NuLeaf Naturals, we utilize supercritical CO2 extraction to create a pure, clean product that is full spectrum, non-toxic and free of contaminants. We then combine this pure THC extract with organic virgin hemp seed oil to create our THC oil tincture.
How is THC oil used?
Like CBD oil and other cannabinoid tinctures, THC oil is ingested orally, typically by holding the oil under the tongue for a period of 60 seconds. This sublingual consumption method allows mucous membranes to absorb the cannabinoids into the bloodstream faster than if the oil were immediately swallowed and digested.
Is THC oil the same as vape oil?
While some might refer to vape oil as THC oil, NuLeaf Naturals THC Oil is different than vape oil. Our product is designed to be used as a sublingual tincture and is not compatible with vaporizers. The onset, duration, and overall effects of a THC tincture may differ from that of vape oil.
Is THC oil the same as THC concentrate?
While THC concentrate typically refers to cannabis extracts that are vaporized and inhaled, THC oil is a type of tincture that is taken orally. It is not designed for smoking, vaping or dabbing like other forms of cannabis extract.
What is the difference between THC oil and CBD oil?
The primary difference between THC oil and CBD oil is the concentrations of each cannabinoid. While full spectrum THC oil contains higher concentrations of THC with minimal amounts of other cannabinoids, full spectrum CBD oil contains higher concentrations of cannabidiol with minimal amounts of THC.
Is THC oil legal?
Since hemp is legal under federal law, hemp-derived THC oil is legal in most states, provided it contains 0.3% THC or less by weight. However, THC oil legality can vary depending on location, as cannabis laws vary from state to state. We recommend looking into these laws in your area to determine if THC oil is legal where you live.
How long do the effects of THC oil last?
THC oil’s duration of effects can vary from person to person, but users can generally expect them to last between 2 and 6 hours. Sublingual THC oil usually takes effect more quickly than THC gummies or other edibles.
Can THC oil show up on a drug test?
The metabolites of delta 9 THC and other cannabinoids can be detected on drug tests, even in small amounts, and detection time can vary greatly depending on the test used and the individual’s lifestyle, metabolism, and body chemistry. It is on each individual user to perform due diligence to ensure they are not faced with undesired consequences as the result of a failed drug screening.
